FARMINGTON, Mo. – A former military vehicle in use by the St. Francois County Road and Bridge Department has been stolen.

Lt. Gregory Armstrong with the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department says the sheriff's department owns the camouflaged Hummer, and it was being stored at the county Road and Bridge facility on Maple Street when it was stolen about 10 days ago.

Armstrong confirms the Hummer was used during a burglary in Ste. Genevieve County May 5. He says keys are not required to start the Hummer, it just has a start switch.

The sheriff's department has released photos of a vehicle identical to the one stolen.

Anyone with information about the incident should call the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department.
