O'FALLON, Missouri (KSDK) –A man and woman face charges related to an armed robbery in O'Fallon, Mo. Thursday night.

O'Fallon police investigated a call for robbery near the intersection of Homefield Boulevard and Haven View Circle.

Tom Branch and Bridget Bagwell, who are described as friends of the victim, picked him or her up in a car and was then robbed the victim in the car, according to O'Fallon police. Branch held a gun on the victim, while Bagwell demanded money, cell phone and cigarettes.

After robbing the person, Branch asked the victim to leave the car, and then the two drove off.

The victim was not harmed, according to police.

Officers later arrested Branch and Bagwell in the area.

Branch faces first-degree robbery, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a gun, while Bagwell faces first-degree robbery and armed criminal action.

Branch and Bagwell are being held on $100,000 bond each.
