O'FALLON, Illinois (KSDK) – Two men face felony charges related to car burglaries in the O'Fallon, Ill., area, according to O'Fallon police.

St. Clair County States Attorney charged Demontee Townsend with two burglary counts and one charge of unlawful use of a weapon. Troy Moreno faces a count of burglary.

Police responded to a report of someone looking into a car in the 200 block of Chamberlains Crossing Friday morning. Police found three people walking around the area, and two of those people had items from two cars in the neighborhood.

Police arrested both. The third person was taken into custody and later released pending further investigation, according to police.

Townsend and Moreno are being held at St. Clair County Jail.
