JEFFERSON COUNTY, Missouri (KSDK)

– Jefferson County deputies are searching for a man who robbed a Cedar Hill MotoMart early Saturday morning, according to Sheriff Glenn Boyer.

A man approached three customers and the store clerk outside of the convenience store at gunpoint and ordered them to put their cell phones on the ground, according to Boyer. All four re-entered the store and ordered to lie face down on the floor.

The man then ordered the clerk to take money out of the cash register and put it in a black backpack along with alcohol and tobacco products, according to Boyer. He fled the store on foot headed east.

The robber is described as a 6-foot tall man, thin build, approximately 160 pounds, wearing a black face mask, black hoodie, blue jeans, grey tennis shoes and red and black gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to call Jefferson County Sheriff's Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
