ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Residents in one south city neighborhood say they're ready to move following an officer-involved shooting Wednesday night.

The shooting took place in the 6700 block of Vermont, located in the Carondelet neighborhood.

Residents say they didn't see anything, but heard the gun shots from inside their homes.

Investigators have released few details on the incident except to say no officers were injured, and that one suspect was shot in the leg and is in custody.

Police have not said what this person was doing prior to being shot.
