MASCOUTAH, Ill. (KSDK) - The St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office charged a 28-year-old Mascoutah man for allegedly videotaping and possessing child pornography.

According to court documents, a complaint filed June 20 accused Nathaniel Winn of taking pictures and/or video of young girls at the Mascoutah swimming pool. After being approached by pool staff, Winn left the area.

Investigators tracked Winn down and recovered his phone. Numerous pictures and videos were recovered depicting young girls in various sexual acts. The pornographic images were obtained from the internet and not created by Winn.

Nathaniel Winn faces more than two dozen counts connected to this incident. He remains in custody at St. Clair County Jail on $250,000 bond.
