ST. LOUIS COUNTY – A Chesterfield police officer accused of secretly recording victims in a men's restroom was indicted by a grand jury last week.

David E. Cerna, 33, is charged with second-degree invasion of privacy. He's accused of setting up a camera in vent inside a Mobil on the Run restroom in the 1700 block of Clarkson Road.

A media investigation found a website where video of the restroom was posted, which led investigators to Cerna's home.

Wentzville police got involved after they say Cerna posted a Craigslist ad asking straight men to come to his house for unusual oral sex acts. Sixty men came to the home to engage in sex through a barrier, but they did not know a man was on the other side.

Cerna was employed with the Chesterfield Police Department for six years. He was fired in June.
