ST. LOUIS – A man killed Wednesday night when a vehicle flipped on top of him while he stood in front of a home has been identified.
Loyde Henley, 56, was standing in front of a home in the 4200 block of Enright with two other men around 7:46 p.m. when a vehicle traveling west on Enright lost control, hit a fire hydrant, and flipped on top of Henley.
The other two men standing with Henley were able to jump out of the way.
Police say the driver and passenger of the vehicle ran from the area. They have not been apprehended.
Henley was pronounced dead at the scene.
