ST. LOUIS – A 46-year-old man was stabbed by his younger brother early Friday morning.

St. Louis police say officers were called to the 2700 block of N. 21st Street around 12:15 a.m. after two brothers started arguing. A spokesperson for the police department says during the argument a 40-year-old man stabbed his older brother in the abdomen.

Police say the victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment and is listed as stable.

The suspect remains at large.
