TROY, Mo. - Two Foley teens were charged Friday in connection with a car break-in and firearm theft, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office said.

According to Lt. Andy Binder, a sheriff's office spokesman, deputies have been investigating multiple car cloutings in subdivisions and commuter lots across eastern Lincoln County since last weekend. Thieves were taking purses, wallets, and change from with the vehicles.

Nine people have been arrested thus far, including 17-year-old Dylan Brookshier and 18-year-old David Crisel. Both were charged with felony stealing of a firearm, and Brookshier was also charged with second-degree burglary. They remain incarcerated at Lincoln County Jail on $250,000 bond.

Authorities believe there are many more victims in eastern Lincoln County that have yet to come forward and file a report. If you would like to file a report, please call the sheriff's office at 636-528-6100.
