ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - With the dissolution of the old Normandy School District, the search to fill vacancies in the new Normandy Schools Collaborative (NSC) has begun in earnest.

The NSC is looking for teachers across all educational disciplines for the upcoming 2014-2015 school year.

The teacher job fair will be held Thursday, July 24 and Saturday, July 26. The July 24 session will be at Barack Obama Elementary School, located at 3883 Jennings Station Road, from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The July 26 sessions will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lucas Crossing Elementary Complex, located at 7837 Natural Bridge Road.

Interested candidates can pre-register for the event by completing an online application at www.NormandySC.org. All applicants will be given an on-site screening, but priority consideration will be given to those who pre-register.

During the online pre-registration, applicants must take the Gallop Assessment, and download and complete the lesson plan template.

Teaching candidates should also bring a copy of their resume, transcript, three references, and current certification.
