ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – When the Black Rep opens its 37th season, it will be in a new location.
Harris-Stowe State University will be the new home for the theater company. The Black Rep lost its longtime home at the Grandel Theater when Grand Center sold the building in August.
The first show of the season will be Langston Hughes' version of a traditional Christmas story, "Black Nativity." The show runs Dec. 4-22 in the Emerson Performance Center.
The season will also feature, "The Meeting," running Jan. 8-26, "For Colored Girls who have considered suicide/when the Rainbow is Enuf," running Jan. 30-Feb. 9, "The Trails of Brother Jero," running April 9-27.
