(KSDK) – A Canadian-based airline is making people believe that Santa Claus and his elves might just be real.
As a part of their second annual holiday video and campaign, WestJet Airlines surprised passengers traveling to Calgary, Canada with gifts they requested prior to boarding the plane. Travelers told a virtual Santa Claus their Christmas wishes at 19 hidden camera stations while waiting to board their flight.
When the passengers landed and arrived at the baggage claim, it quickly turned into a holiday carousel with presents requested by the passengers.
The video, which was released Monday, has already garnered more than one million page views on YouTube and has been shared across Facebook and Twitter multiple times.
WestJet Vice President Richard Bartrem said that the company wanted to do "real-time giving" and surprise guests with meaningful, personalized gifts.
The giving doesn't stop with those passengers though.
WestJet Cares for Kids will donate flights through Ronald McDonald House charities to those in need.
