(KSDK) – Although some people might be getting into the Christmas spirit, several on social media are getting into the "Festivus" spirit.

The popular TV show "Seinfeld" popularized the fake holiday, which is Dec. 23, to air grievances and set up an undecorated aluminum pole, instead of a Christmas tree.

According to International Business Times, there are three parts to Festivus: dinner, airing of grievances and feats of strength.

Airing of grievances allows to publicly air all of the year's disappointments and feats of strength, according to Seinfeld, involves a wrestling match.

Even Sen. Rand Paul has joined the hype by tweeting his grievances about Washington.

So Happy Festivus to all and share your grievances with us on Facebook!
