A downed power line has caused the delay for passengers Wednesday.
ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – Riders on the MetroLink Red Line will be shuttled by buses and Express buses until 7 p.m. Wednesday between the North Hanley, UMSL North, UMSL South, Rock Road, and Wellston stations.
The delay is due to a downed power line that caused two trains to stop on the tracks. A spokesperson says work continues to progress to restore partial service to the affected stations, and single-track operations will be put into effect between North Hanley and Wellston this evening. Riders should expect delays up to 35 minutes.
Riders using the Blue Line should not be affected.
