ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – St. Louis police and the FBI are looking for two men who robbed a south St. Louis bank Tuesday morning.
The suspects walked into the PNC Bank in the 4100 block of S. Grand Boulevard at 10:38 a.m. Tuesday. Both of them are believed to have been armed. One of the men jumped the counter and punched a bank employee in the side of the head.
After the robbery, the suspects ran from the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police say the stolen money may have dye stains on the bills.
The bank employee was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Both suspects are described as African-American. One stands around 6'2" tall and weighs around 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a flannel shirt over a dark hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and tennis shoes. The hood was partially covered with a red knit hat that may have the words "St. Louis" on the front.
The second suspect was more slender, and stands around 6'5" tall. He was wearing a burgundy sweater vest over a white shirt and jeans. He also held blue clothing over his head.
