MADISON COUNTY, Ill. (KSDK) – An Alton, Ill. man is accused of threatening a public official.
Around 2:50 p.m. Thursday, a Madison County Jail deputy and parole officer with the Illinois Department of Corrections met with inmate Britt Lacey.
Lacey, 29, was told his parole was being revoked. Police say he then started yelling at the parole officer, telling him he would put a hit out and have him killed.
Lacey was originally arrested Wednesday for violating an order of protection.
Bond is set at $100,000.
