CHESTERFIELD - As you gather around your dinner table to give thanks over the next few days, it's also a great opportunity to think about reaching out to families who may be really struggling this year.
Holidays can be especially hard for families who have a child diagnosed with cancer. Parents and the sick child are often at the hospital for long stretches of time, other children in the family may be left alone or feel left out.
Judy Ciapciak, executive director of Friends of Kids with Cancer, joined First @ 4 with information on how you can make a difference with the Adopt-A-Family drive. Click the video player above to watch the interview.
