ST. LOUIS - Overnight weather coverage can get pretty dull. Sometimes you have to get creative to illustrate just how cold it gets.
Dana Dean livened up her Thursday morning assignment on 'Today In St. Louis' by freezing husband Ryan's clothes on-air. She took one of his t-shirts and a pair of socks, wet them and stuck them to a light pole in a south St. Louis County parking lot before dawn.
Dana also froze one of her business cards in a cup of water and made ice cubes, but her pilfering of Ryan's wardrobe had our morning news crew in stitches. Ryan Dean, however, was not amused.
Before the end of the show, Ryan got a hold of Dana's heels and threatened to freeze them on-air during the 10 a.m. news.
