ST. LOUIS COUNTY - A couple of warm-hearted people are making sure several kids don't go cold this winter.

A teacher in the Riverview Gardens District had an idea when she noticed some kids needed coats and other supplies. She worked with Chris Peoples and Andrew Kishna, a couple of local business owners, who adopted kindergarten classes at Highland Elementary.

NewsChannel 5 was there Thursday when they delivered new coats and other supplies for students in need.
