ST. LOUIS - Grocery store shelves are slowly filling back up after this weekend's mad dash, but there's one item that might be missing for a while.

NewsChannel 5 stopped by the Schnucks on Loughborough Monday afternoon. Eggs were going back in the case, and there were plenty of milk cartons to choose from. But there were still a couple of empty shelves.

"Those are from commercial vendors that we have no control over how they get here. Their products are coming from out of state, so it all depends on when they can get their trailers here. Our Schnucks bread, we had a delivery this morning, so we were back in stock," said Jacque Arnicar.

Schnucks actually has a snow plan, and each store orders a little more when something like Sunday's storm is predicted.
