MADISON COUNTY, Ill. – Heroin is suspected in the death of a Worchester, N.Y. woman over the weekend.
Angela K. Lamar, 25, was found unconscious inside a stall in a restroom at the CC Food Mart in Highland, Ill, around 1 a.m. Sunday. She was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
A syringe and heroin-filled capsules were found during the investigating.
An autopsy has been conducted, but an official cause of death will be determined after toxicological tests conclude.
Lamar was traveling through the state with her boyfriend, who is a truck driver.
