ST. LOUIS - Employees at two St. Louis companies honor Dr. Martin Luther King on his birthday by helping needy kids in the community.

On Wednesday, 300 children from the Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls club got fitted for free athletic shoes.

Employee volunteers from ARAMARK and the Kwame Building group participated in the day of service.

The volunteers teamed up with Samaritan's Feet, a non-profit group that collects and distributes shoes for needy people.
