ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – Blowing snow and slick conditions have caused problems even in the air.

More than a dozen flights in and out of Lambert-St. Louis International Airport have been cancelled as well as a handful of flights have been delayed.

Many of the flights are on the east coast, including Philadelphia, New York and Newark.

According to a USA Today article, national weather conditions have canceled more than 20 percent of flight schedules at Baltimore/Washington, New York LaGuardia, New York JFK, Newark Liberty, Philadelphia, Washington Dulles and Washington Reagan National.
