FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. (KSDK) – An 8-year-old has died in Frankly County after being found unresponsive on a school bus, according to Franklin County Sheriff's office.

Franklin County sheriff deputies responded to Strain Japan School where Bradley Voss, of Franklin County, boarded his bus to go home and fell to the floor Monday afternoon. According to police, the bus driver performed CPR until emergency personnel arrived.

Bradley complained of a headache to his mom before school, and she gave him Tylenol or aspirin for it. According to the school, he didn't exhibit symptoms of illness throughout the day.

He was pronounced dead at an area hospital.

"It's a tough situation on the entire student body and staff and community as a whole being a small, rural community," said Principal Anita Studdard, who describes Voss as kind and well-liked, with a good sense of humor.

Dorothy Adams' 6-year-old son went to school with Voss.

"He liked the little fella really good and he's seriously upset about it so I know all the kids and everybody at the school loved him and still do," she said.

No cause of death has been determined, and no foul play is suspected. Tuesday morning's autopsy revealed no immediate signs of a cause of death. The examination will not be complete until toxicology results are returned, which could take several weeks.
