ST. LOUIS - A water main break is causing major headaches for commuters and some residents of the Central West End.

The St. Louis City Water Department responded to the 4500 block of West Pine—between Taylor and Euclid—around 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Water gushed from the six-inch main break, and some of it froze in the cold air.

When asked if the break was caused by the cold temperatures, the city water department said there have been water main breaks constantly over the last few months.
