MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. – A St. Charles County brewery is about to get a bit bigger.

O'Fallon Brewery will expand to build a new 40,000 square foot brewery in Maryland Heights, Mo., which will double its brewing volume to a capacity of 25,000 beer barrels.

The brewery will feature a 50-barrel brew house, 2,000-square-foot tasting room and brewery tours, and the expansion will allow for 20 more jobs.

The new brewery will begin construction in April and will open in December. Its original brewery, which is located in O'Fallon, Mo., will remain open.
