SHREWSBURY, Mo. – A new piece of artwork has been put on display at the Shrewsbury MetroLink station.

Nine hundred stainless steel rods make up the piece called "London," that was designed to appear as if it's changing as you move toward and around it. St. Louis artist Ben Fehrmann created the piece, which gives the sensation that the mass is dissolving and reforming, to reframe your perception of the space around it.

Metro says public artwork lowers incidents of crime and vandalism and makes people feel safer.
