ST. LOUIS - Problems with AMBER Alert notifications have the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children contacting FEMA.
NewsChannel 5 noticed not every cell phone got Tuesday night's alert out of Texas. Others got them at different times, even though the users were all on the same network. That's when we contacted the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and AT&T.
Both say it could be some time before they know exactly what went wrong. We're told there can be delays because of a phone's data connection, apps and the closest cell phone tower.
If you aren't getting the alerts, check your settings.
