Ellisville- A St. Louis County service organization is raffling off the trip of a lifetime to raise money for infant vaccinations all over the world. The Gateway Region Kiwanis Foundation will send two people to St. Louis Cardinals spring training on the weekend of March 21.

The raffle tickets are $10 a piece or three for $20. The tickets are being sold at West County Lanes at 15727 Manchester Road, Ellisville, MO 63011. You can find out more about how to buy tickets by emailing springtrainingraffle@gmail.com.

The prize package includes round trip airfare, a reception and dinner with Cardinals manager Mike Matheny and select players (based on availability), game tickets at Roger Dean Stadium, and two nights at a hotel. The winner will also have complimentary use of a rental car and a $500 gift card for incidentals.

The money benefits the Kiwanis International "Eliminate Project". It's a global outreach campaign to increase vaccinations for childbearing women in developing countries.

"Preventable diseases kill one baby every nine minutes," explains Nancy Willimon, Lt. Gov. for Division 9 of Kiwanis International. "When you buy one of these raffle tickets, you can save a life and win a trip to see the Cardinals in Florida and have dinner with Mike Matheny."

The winning ticket will be drawn by Today in St. Louis Anchor Pat McGonigle on Monday, March 3.
