ST. LOUIS - Did you find your children inspired by the Winter Olympics? Well, now they can get a little closer to the action through an Olympic summer camp.

The non-profit, St. Louis City Open Studio & Gallery, hosts 10 camps in Tower Grove Park every summer.

From July 14-18 they'll launch the first Olympic summer camp for kids ages 5 to 11. The week-long program costs $165 and financial assistance is available.

Organizers say the spirit of the games lends itself to teaching kids values.

"I think cooperation as well as competitiveness if you watch most sporting events and especially the Olympics. There's a comradery there a mutual respect," said Lori Allen.

Organizers are still working out the types of activities for this camp, but art will play a large role.

Here's a list of all the summer camps going on at Tower Grove Park:
June 2-6: Art of Noise Camp
June 9-13: DramaRama
June 16-20: Superhero Camp
