ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK) – A driver suffered minor injuries after his dump truck went off road and rolled over in a low-lying area south of Eureka early Friday morning.

Gary Smith, of Hazelwood, drove his 2005 Sterling T-T on westbound Highway W, east of Highway 109.

The truck went off road and rolled into a 10-foot drop. A crane is expected to get the truck upright later Friday, according to Missouri Highway Patrol, which will close the highway.

An ambulance took Smith to an area hospital to treat his injuries.
