ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KSDK) - We have good news about a pair of dogs who made the long trip from Sochi, Russia to St. Charles.

The two dogs, Jake and Junior, are in quarantine at Five Acres Animal Shelter. Blues team captain David Backes and his wife brought the strays back from the Winter Olympics.

People who work at the shelter say they are wonderful, wiggly puppies that walk well on a leash. They're just two of the hundred dogs there looking for a good home.

One of the dogs, Junior, will go home to Kevin Shattenkirk and his family. In a couple weeks, people can start applying to adopt Jake.
