ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – Starting tonight, the westbound lanes of the Chesterfield Parkway Bridge will be closed. on April 1. Chesterfield Parkway will be closed between Wild Horse Creek Road and Swingley Ridge starting at 8 p.m. Friday, April 4. In addition, the ramp from Clarkson to WB I-64 will be closed at 8 p.m. Friday, April 4.
MoDOT will also close all lanes of Interstate 64 in two places in the Chesterfield Valley area starting at 8 p.m. Friday, April 4.
Crews will be removing the Chesterfield Parkway West bridge and the old Chesterfield Airport Road bridge over the interstate.
All lanes are scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, April 7.
Here is how you work around the closure:
For the Chesterfield Parkway West bridge:
· Eastbound I-64 – Use Chesterfield Parkway and take a left onto Wild Horse Creek Road.
· Westbound I-64 – Use Chesterfield Parkway West and bear to the right.
Detours for the Chesterfield Airport Road bridge:
· Eastbound I-64 – Use Chesterfield Airport Road. Take Chesterfield Airport Road to Spirit of St. Louis Boulevard and turn left.
· Westbound I-64 – Use Spirit of St. Louis Boulevard and take the roundabout. Follow the roundabout to the second leg and continue along the new north outer road for I-64.
