ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - This is the last calm day before numerous storms head our way.

Cooler today with increasing clouds and highs in the upper 50s, but we're dry during the day. Scattered showers are possible this evening, but the best chance of storms won't be until after midnight.

On Wednesday morning, storms are possible early with scattered showers from mid-morning through mid-afternoon and then more storms from late afternoon then through Wednesday evening are possible along with highs in the upper 60s along the way.

Thursday morning we should expect storms early with redevelopment in the afternoon and evening and highs in the upper 70s.

Severe weather is possible Wednesday and Thursday so make plans to stay safe and make sure everyone knows what those plans are.

Cooler and drier Friday through the weekend.
