ST. LOUIS – A local artist is ready to publish his much talked-about project, 'What the Hell is Saint Louis Thinking?' a look at the collected thoughts of St. Louisans.

As NewsChannel 5 told you last summer, Henry Goldkamp placed typewriters, blank sheets of paper, and a wooden box with a drop slot in high-traffic areas. He asked passers-by to "Type your thoughts here." NPR and Time covered Goldkamp's project, bringing him more attention, and prompting him to set up more thought stations, bringing the total to 40.

Goldkamp has now turned to Kickstarter to raise money to publish the work, which has been narrowed down to the best submissions.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Goldkamp had raised $2,376 of his $6,400 goal. If you would like to donate to help get the book published, visit the Kickstarter page.
