ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – Bare Naked Statues, Saint Louis University's a cappella group, will be competing as one of the top eight groups in the world next week.

The group will compete in the Varsity Vocals International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella next Saturday.

Last weekend, the all-male a cappella group won the Midwest ICCA Semifinal at Illinois State University, which secured its spot to the finals.

As semifinalists, the group performed a rendition of Beyoncé's "Crazy In Love," Little Fest's "Let It Roll," and the Killers' "When You Were Young."

This is the first time the group has advanced this far.

The group is hosting fundraisers to help for the costs of travel in New York. To donate or find out more information, check out the group's campaign website.
