ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Department of Transportation will shut down all westbound lanes of Interstate 64 this weekend to allow crews to set up girders at the Tower Grove and Boyle bridges.
The closure will begin at 9 p.m. Friday, April 18 between Forest Park Avenue and Kingshighway. Ramps from Grand and Market to westbound I-64 will also close at this time. The work is part of an ongoing $18 million project to create a full interchange between Tower Grove and I-64.
Drivers should use the Forest Park Avenue exit 38A and follow Forest Park Avenue to Kingshighway. After turning left on Kingshighway, and drivers can get back onto westbound I-64.
All lanes and ramps are expected to be reopen by 9 a.m. Saturday.
