ST. LOUIS – For 3.5 hours Tuesday the St. Louis Twitter-verse was transfixed.

Ten St. Louis firefighters, an MSD crew, and the Humane Society of Missouri tried to come up with a way to get a puppy safely out of a storm drain. The two-month-old teacup Chihuahua accidentally fell in as he was running around a yard in the 4900 block of Theodore.

Fortunately, the whole ordeal had a happy ending, and the pup and his owner, Cocoa Young, joined First @ 4 live on Wednesday.
