BOND COUNTY, Ill. (KSDK) – A Bond County Jail inmate has been found and captured, according to the sheriff's department.

Deputies captured Andrew Walker, 30, who had been missing since Saturday, Monday at 7:34 a.m.

A deputy spotted Walker's car in Pierron, Ill. after multiple citizen reports of his whereabouts.

After a short police pursuit toward north of Pocahontas, Walker's car spun into a ditch, and deputies caught him after he fled on foot.

According to authorities, Walker escaped through a vent that went to an outer room, broke through a drop ceiling and left through an egress door.

No charges have been formally filed yet.
