ST. LOUIS - Former Cardinals outfielder Jim Edmonds is facing a federal lawsuit.

Edmonds co-owns The Precinct on Locust in downtown St. Louis. It's a reference to the new city police headquarters that will soon open down the street.

But a Cincinnati man who owns six restaurants with the same name filed a trademark lawsuit. He claims Edmonds is trying to capitalize on his already established brand.
