KIRKWOOD, Mo. – Drivers in south St. Louis County should expect delays along Kirkwood Road.

Union Pacific Railroad will be making a critical repair to the tracks that cross Kirkwood Road near the Amtrak Station.

Wednesday night all trains will travel on a single set of tracks at 10 mph, meaning drivers will be delayed at the crossing for longer than usual. Drivers are encouraged to use the bypass on Clay Avenue.

Parts of Kirkwood Road will be blocked between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday to allow crews to continue repair work.
