ST. LOUIS – An 11-year-old girl's leg was broken Thursday after the van she was riding in struck a house in south St. Louis.
Police say the accident happened around 6 p.m. after the van ran a stop sign at Nebraska and Shenandoah. The van hit a Ford Mustang in the intersection.
The driver lost control and struck a house on the corner. The girl was riding in the back of the van at the time of the accident. She was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
