ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - A quiet start to the morning should the common denominator as the workweek unfolds but each and every day an unsettled atmosphere will leave us with precipitation in the afternoon and evening.
The rest of the day will be warm and humid with highs near 80 degrees, but from early afternoon through sunset, scattered storms will be developing and moving northeast. Some may be severe with the biggest threat coming from large and hail and potentially damaging winds.
On Tuesday we'll be a little cooler with highs near 70 degrees but just as unsettled, so widespread afternoon and evening storms are likely with some of them producing hail.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, afternoon showers are possible with highs in the upper 50s to near 60.
And if you feel like a cold may be coming on, it could be allergies. The tree pollen is very high.
