ST. LOUIS COUNTY – A Rockwood middle school has won the grand prize in a pillow design contest, and another received an honorable mention.

Anna Schuth, a seventh grader at Selvidge Middle School placed first in the Haan Crafts Design-A-Pillow Contest. Her classmate, Caitlyn Lee, received an honorable mention. Both students won gift certificates from the company and their designs will be sold in the 2014-2015 Haan Crafts catalog.

The contest had more than 200 entries from across the country. Schuth, Lee, and a third classmate, Kailyn Zhang, were chosen as finalists last month.
