BROOKLYN, Ill. (KSDK) – A driver remains at large after hitting an officer and continuing into a high-speed chase.

The officer stopped a car in for a traffic violation. The driver wasn't cooperative with the officer and pulled off, bumping him with the car in the process.

The officer pursued the driver down Interstate 70 and decided to call of the pursuit at Goodfellow after speeds reached more than 100 miles per hour.

The officer is doing OK.

The driver is believed to have gone into St. Louis County, and police are searching for him.
