ST. LOUIS – Access to the Gateway Arch grounds will be restricted Tuesday as Vice President Joe Biden views progress on the CityArchRiver project.
The Gateway Arch and Old Courthouse will remain open Tuesday, but visitors must enter the Arch grounds from the north via a pedestrian walkway at the Pine Street ramp or through the Arch parking garage on Washington Avenue.
There will no pedestrian access on Walnut Street or on the Grand Staircase. The Gateway Arch Riverboats will offer sightseeing cruises at 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. but the 1:30 p.m. cruise is cancelled. The ArchView Café on the dock of the Gateway Arch Riverboats will be closed.
Biden is expected to arrive in St. Louis Tuesday afternoon.
