ST. LOUIS - It's been 20 years since the Bosnian War tore so many lives and families apart, and now a St. Louis woman, who fled Bosnia when she was a child, has turned her story into a book.

Sejla Grahovic ran from her house with bullets flying over her head, and lived in a refugee camp before immigrating to America, and eventually St. Louis. She joined First @ 4 Thursday to talk about a book she wrote called "While You Played, I Ran."

Click the video player above to hear Grahovic talk about the death she experienced at the age of 8 when the war started, and the loss of her home.

"While You Played, I Ran" is available through Amazon.
