ST. LOUIS – On Friday, a 100-year old St. Louis school will close its doors for good. It will be the last day of class at St. John the Baptist in south St. Louis.

The school is one of five area Catholic schools closing this year.

According to the St. Louis Archdiocese, falling attendance is the reason for the closures.
