WENTZVILLE, Mo. (KSDK) – Three men were seriously injured after an attempted marijuana buy turned into a violent stabbing Tuesday afternoon near 1435 Plaza Place.

Nakeyo Blount, 39, told police that he had given the three victims $60 for marijuana, but was later told to leave without the money or the drugs. That's when he says he stabbed Karl Clark, 25, Kevin Clark, 26, and Christopher Horton, 26.

Police received a call about the assault in progress just after 1:15 p.m. When they arrived at the scene, they saw Blount running away, and arrested him shortly thereafter.

Blount is currently awaiting transfer to the St. Charles County Adult Detention Facility, where he will be held on three counts of first degree assault and three counts of armed criminal action.

He is being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
